  Important Information for Debenture Holders

Arrangements For Possible Play On Monday

As a result of the consistently bad weather over the fortnight, we still have a backlog of matches. It is, therefore, possible that we may have to activate our plans for play on Monday 9 July.

In case this becomes reality, we would like to remind debenture holders of the following ticketing procedures for play on Monday:

  • In your 2007 ticket package which we sent to you in May, you were given an additional ticket to be used in the event of play on Monday.
  • You will need to present this ticket in order to gain admission to the grounds on Monday.
  • You can continue to use Gate 1.
  • In view of the elevated security levels, you will not be able to gain admission without a ticket.
  • For the avoidance of doubt, you will also not be able to gain admission for Monday’s play with a ticket for Sunday’s play.
  • There is no reserved seating for Monday and you will, in fact, notice that your ticket for Monday does not carry a seat number.

In addition, you should know that we are making contingency plans to provide as many facilities as possible in the debenture holders’ lounge on Monday.

We understand that this year’s Championships have been frustrating for all of us. We would like to thank you for your continued enthusiasm and patience.

If it were to become necessary to play on Monday, detailed arrangements would be published at the earliest opportunity at www.wimbledon.org and in the press.

Meanwhile, if you have any questions about possible play on Monday, please call the Debenture Office on 020 8971 2341.
