The AELTC Grounds are open daily from 10:30 a.m. until one hour after
close of play. Play is scheduled to start on Centre and No. 1 Courts at 1:00 p.m. for the first
eleven days and 2:00 p.m. on final days. On all other courts the start of play will be at
midday for at least the first eight days and 11:00 am for Junior matches on the middle Saturday and in the
second week.
Touch screen systems in the Centre and No. 1 Court Debenture Holders’ Lounges provide point by
point results, player biographies and historical Championships’ statistics.
Notably, Left Luggage facilities are located OUTSIDE the Grounds. However, for Debenture Holders, small items can be left in the Debenture Holders’ Cloakroom along with coats and umbrellas.
The loss of tickets should be reported immediately to the Ticket Office
(020 8971 2739).
On verification, duplicates will be issued for collection at the Ticket Office by the Debenture
Holder. Reissued tickets will take priority over originals. Debenture Holders who request
duplicate tickets may be required to assist the All England Club in connection with the use
and/or the abuse of the original tickets issued.
Please look after your tickets carefully as duplicate tickets, if arranged, will attract a charge
of £12 per ticket where the originals have been safely received by the Debenture Holder but
subsequently lost.
Used Ticket Resale for Charity
All visitors who leave before the end of play are urged to place their tickets
in the red ticket boxes or offer their tickets for scanning as you leave the grounds, for sale on
behalf of charity.
Resale tickets will be sold for £5 after 3.00 p.m. (subject to availability). The
proceeds are divided between the Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation, SPARKS (Sport Aiding Medical
Research for Kids), The Dan Maskell Tennis Trust (to help the disabled and disadvantaged to
play tennis) and local Merton Charities. The amount collected at the 2006 Championships was
£81,615 (net of v.a.t.).
Ticket Warning
Do NOT buy additional tickets from touts or other unauthorised agents; they will not gain you entry to
the Grounds.
Centre and No. 1 Court Debenture Holders and their guests have their own lounges and restaurants which have
been designed to be a place in which to eat, drink and relax in stylish surroundings.
