Guided Tours

We offer a unique Children’s General Guided Tour, led by Education Team Guides, which includes; the Millennium Building, the Press Interview Room, The Water Gardens (Henman Hill), Court No 1 and the BBC Television Studio or Centre Court or the Players’ Restaurant Terrace depending on time of year and building work. Tours take between an hour and an hour and a half. Tour length and content can be adapted to suit your group’s needs. This tour is available for Key Stages 1 – 4.

You can also select from a range of curriculum linked tours:

CAN BUILDINGS SPEAK? (KS1)

Explore size, shape and structure, and question the purpose of the buildings. What shape is the Millennium building? Why does the Broadcast Centre have darkened windows?

Art QCA Unit 2C

TAKE A SEAT ON COURT (KS1 & 2)

Consider aspects of chair designs, the materials used to make them and their purpose. Children have the opportunity to make thoughtful observations and to share their views.

Art QCA Unit 4B

KEEPING HEALTHY (KS1 & 2)

How do the players prepare for their game? What is the best diet for a tennis player and how do champions keep healthy? Take on the role of a player in the press interview room and discuss your last match.
