Robinsons and Wimbledon

Robinsons Apple and Blackcurrent

Robinsons have been part of the Wimbledon tradition since 1935 when Barley Water first appeared on the umpire’s chair. For over seventy years, the Championships have been refreshed by Robinsons: players, officials, ball boy and ball girls, spectators alike have all enjoyed the thirst quenching powers of our squash.

Have your kids got Championship Taste Buds?

To celebrate summer, tennis and the great taste of Robinsons Squash, Robinsons are challenging kids to prove they have Championship Taste Buds.

We all know that Robinsons tastes delicious to you, but as kids have livelier taste buds than grown ups they really appreciate the yummier taste. To celebrate kids’ taste buds Robinsons are giving ten lucky families VIP passes to Wimbledon 2008.

Each family will get to watch all the action on Show Court Tickets and will receive VIP treatment in Robinsons’ hospitality suite. The prize package also includes overnight accommodation in a top London hotel and transfers to Wimbledon.

To win this fantastic prize you must prove that your kids have Championship taste buds. So pour them a glass of Robinsons squash and ask them to complete the statement “when I take a sip of deliciously fruity Robinsons squash my taste buds make me think of…” in no more than 25 words. Get your taste buds thinking and submit your answer at www.raisethemonrobinsons.com to be in with a chance of winning.

The Championship Taste Buds on-pack promotion is being supported by an extensive PR campaign in women’s magazines and national press.

Bringing the queue a taste of Wimbledon

Robinsons will be bringing a taste of Wimbledon to the queuing public on the first three days of the Championships.

Robinsons has been a proud sponsor of Tim Henman throughout his career.  Back at the Championships for the first time since he hung up his racket, Tim is helping us serve up some entertainment for the queue.  Tim Henman is preparing a mystery celebrity to play tennis with the queuing public on the first Monday of the tournament. The mystery celebrity will be revealed the Friday before the tournament begins and will be available to challenge Championship goers to a game or two as they wait to go through the famous gates. Tennis coaches will takeover from the mystery celebrity on Tuesday and Wednesday morning to continue the entertainment.

To keep the queue refreshed the Robinsons team will be sampling Robinsons Fruit Squash throughout the first week of the Championships.
