2007 Championships: 25th June - 8th July 2007

 AELTC Public Ballot

As long ago as 1924, the Club introduced a public ballot whereby the majority of Centre, No.1 and No.2 Court tickets are sold in advance.

The Public Ballot has always been substantially oversubscribed. Entry into the Ballot does not automatically entitle applicants to tickets for Wimbledon, but a place in the draw for a pair of tickets.

Successful applicants are selected at random by computer. It is not possible to request tickets for specific days or courts, as the day and court offered are also chosen randomly by a computerised selection process.

Entries for the 2007 Public Ballot closed on 31st December 2006 and successful applications will have been notified by post.

If you have missed the ballot deadline for this year and would like information on visiting The Championships, especially if you are intending to purchase a ticket at the turnstiles on the day of play, you can write to the Ticket Office for a copy of our Guide for Non-Ticket Holders. Please send a self-addressed , stamped envelope.

To enter the 2008 Public Ballot draw you must first obtain an application form from 1st August 2007. (Requests postmarked after 15th December 2007 will NOT be processed.)

For a ballot form, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope - DL size ( 110mm x 220mm, 4 1/4 " x 8 5/8") - to:

Ticket Office
AELTC
P.O. BOX 98
London SW19 5AE

Only ONE application per household is permitted. Please do not ask for more than one form. We will void your applications.

OVERSEAS APPLICANTS

Please enclose an International Reply Coupon (in place of a stamp) where possible.

WHEELCHAIR USERS

Wheelchair users have a separate ballot for Show Court spaces suitable for wheelchairs. For a 2008 Wheelchair Ballot form you must first obtain an application form from 1st August 2007, please mark the letter and envelope ‘Wheelchair’. The closing date is 15th December 2007.

 Re-Sale of Tickets

All tickets, excluding debentures, are strictly non-transferable and must not be sold, nor advertised for sale, anywhere.

Tickets should NOT be purchased as gifts. They are only valid for use by the original applicant (and their guest(s) where applicable).

If you are unable to use the ticket(s) issued to you, please contact (prior to the day of play) the organisation from whom you purchased the tickets. In many circumstances, the AELTC, and those bodies to whom it issues tickets, are able to operate a flexible returns/refund policy.
