 Strawberries and Cream

The price of the traditional strawberries and cream at Wimbledon has changed very little over the last ten years, with the price of a single portion (minimum 10 strawberries) fluctuating between £1.60 and £2.00 depending upon the seasonal crop.

To ensure utmost freshness, the strawberries, usually Grade I Kent strawberries of the highest quality from LEAF-registered farms, are picked the day before and arrive at Wimbledon at 5.30am, prior to being inspected and hulled.
